I graduated from the University of British Columbia with a degree in Political Science – my interest in this field primarily related to human rights, international development and sustainability issues.

During university, I took the oppertunity to get involved in various symposiums and conferences that centered on human security and Canadian foreign policy and trade. I was also heavily involved in designing and distributing marketing material to the public for these events. I really enjoyed the chance to polish my marketing skills and interact with people on a personal level.

Becoming involved in the World Urban Forum – which deals with the impact of urbanization and its effect on cities, the economy and policies made me realize that environmental and sustainability issues are becoming more and more important to people. Thus, as a realtor, I believe it is also important to keep abreast of the latest trends in environmentally friendly housing and there are many exciting developments in this area that are creating new options for homeowners in Greater Vancouver.

A solid background in marketing, meeting and interacting with new people and the genuine enjoyment I get from being part of Vancouver’s community have not only helped me hone my abilities as a realtor – they are the reason I became a  realtor!
